How to Set Up Auto-Invoicing for Your Cloud Service

This guide walks you through setting up auto-invoicing for your cloud service. Auto-invoicing ensures your instance stays active by automatically generating and paying invoices when your credit balance runs low.


Why Set Up Auto-Invoicing?

  • Auto-Deduct - Payment is automatically deducted from your saved card.


Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:


  • Active Cloud Service - Your cloud instance is active and running.
  • Visa/Mastercard - A valid credit or debit card (Visa or Mastercard).
  • Client Area Access - You can log in to the client area.
  • Cloud Control Panel Access - You can log in to the Cloud Control Panel.


Step-by-Step Guide


Part 1: Add and Save Your Card Details


  1. Log in to your Client Area.


  1. You need to add credit to your account, which will generate an invoice.

  1. On the invoice page, choose pay via Visa / Mastercard and click "Pay with Chip" at the top of the invoice.


  1. You will be redirected to the payment gateway page. Enter your card details (card number, expiry date, CVV).


Important: Tick the box "Remember my card for future purchases" to save your card details in your account.


  1. Click "Pay" to complete the payment.


πŸ’‘ Note: After payment, it may take a few minutes for the system to update. Wait a moment, then check your client area dashboard.



Part 2: Set Visa/Mastercard as Your Default Payment Method


  1. In the Client Area, click the menu "Hello, [your-name]!" at the top right.


  1. Click on "Account Details" from the dropdown menu.


  1. Scroll down to the "Payment Method" section. Select "Visa / Mastercard" from the dropdown menu


  1. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the "Save Changes" button.


Part 3: Enable Auto-Invoicing in Cloud Control Panel


  1. Log in to your Cloud Control Panel.


  1. Click on your profile icon (top right, where it says "Hello, [your-name]!").


  1. From the dropdown menu, click on "Clients".


  1. On the current client tab, click the button "Configure auto invoicing".


  1. In the pop-up window:


  • Tick the box to enable auto-invoicing.
  • Choose your preferred auto-deduct method:


Method

Description

Estimated Monthly Consumption

Auto-deducts based on your estimated usage for 30 days.

Fixed Amount

Auto-deducts a fixed amount you set.



  1. Click "Save" or "Confirm" to apply the settings.


You have successfully set up auto invoicing for your cloud service.


Verification

After completing all steps, verify that auto-invoicing is active:


  1. Return to your Client Area dashboard.


  1. Look for the "Credit Balance" section.


  1. You should see the message:
Auto-pay is active.




This confirms that auto-invoicing is successfully enabled.


Important Notes

  • Card Details Saved - Your card must be saved in the system for auto-invoicing to work.
  • Sufficient Funds - Ensure your card has sufficient funds for the auto-deduction.
  • Invoice Generation - Invoices are auto-generated when your credit is low and before it runs out.
  • If Not Working - If any step is missed, auto-invoicing will not work. Double-check all settings.
  • Processing Time - After payment, wait a few minutes for the system to update the credit balance.
