# How to Create Cloud Instance for Windows Images

This guide will walk you through the process of creating a cloud instance for Windows Images on your account.

1. Login into your [Cloud Control Panel](https://cp.gbcloud.net/login)

|| If you receive an "Incorrect email or password" error, you may proceed by selecting "Forgot Password." 2. In the left sidebar, click on the 'Instances' tab, then click the '+' icon located at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

3. Fill in the details, then click the 'CREATE' button to create the instance.
* Instance Name (e.g: cloud01.cloud.dev)
* Select Cluster Flavor (CPU, RAM, Storage)
|| **Note:** To use a Windows image, you must select a flavor/cluster with **at least 4GB of RAM**.

* Image/ISO (e.g., Windows Server 2022)
* Volume Size: Specify the disk size (in GB) required for your instance.
|| **Note:** To use a Windows image, you must select a set volume size above 30GB

* Network: If you haven’t configured your own network, you may use the default network provided.
* SSH keys: You must add your SSH key first. For instructions, refer to the helpdesk article: [How to Add SSH Keys in the Cloud Control Panel](https://helpdesk.gbcloud.net/en/article/how-to-add-ssh-keys-in-the-cloud-control-panel-4ffv3b/).
* Number of instances to create: You may put the numbers you wish to create an instance.

4. Once your instance is created, you may access to your server using console by clicking symbol "< >".

5. On this page, you can either adjust the settings as needed or keep the defaults, then click the 'Next' button to continue.

6. After that, you need to accept the license terms by clicking the 'Accept' button.

7. Next, set your password to access the server, then click 'Finish' to complete the setup.

||| **Warning: Password should have at least: one lower case letter, one upper case letter, one number and one special character ( !#$@%&'()*+?><,-./[\]^_`{|}~")**

8. Once completed, you will be redirected to the Windows instance page. From there, you can access your server using Remote Desktop Connection (RDP).
