How to Create Cloud Instance for Linux Images

This guide will walk you through the process of creating a cloud instance for Linux Images on your account.

  1. Login into your Cloud Control Panel

If you receive an "Incorrect email or password" error, you may proceed by selecting "Forgot Password." For guidance, please refer to our Helpdesk article: How to Reset Your Password for the Cloud Control Panel

  1. In the left sidebar, click on the 'Instances' tab, then click the '+' icon located at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

  1. Fill in the details, then click the 'CREATE' button to create the instance.
  • Instance Name (e.g: cloud01.cloud.dev)
  • Select Flavor (CPU, RAM, Storage)

  • Image/ISO (e.g., Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 10)
  • Network: If you haven’t configured your own network, you may use the default network provided.
  • SSH keys: You must add your SSH key first. For instructions, refer to the helpdesk article: How to Add SSH Keys in the Cloud Control Panel.
  • Root password: We recommend using a randomly generated password that includes numbers, symbols, and capital letters for better security.
  • Number of instances to create: You may put the numbers you wish to create an instance.

  1. After a short wait, your instance will be up and running. It’s now ready for use. You can access the server via SSH using the terminal.

You have successfully created a cloud instance.
