How to Attach a Volume?

This guide will walk you through the process of attach a volume on your existing instance.


  1. Login into your Cloud Control Panel


If you receive an "Incorrect email or password" error, you may proceed by selecting "Forgot Password." For guidance, please refer to our Helpdesk article: How to Reset Your Password for the Cloud Control Panel


  1. In the left sidebar, click on the 'Instances' tab, then click on the existing instance in your Cloud Control Panel that you want to attach the volume


  1. Click on the Volume tab, then click the 'Attach Volume' button.


  1. Select the volume you have created, then click the 'Attach' button.


If you haven’t created the volume yet, you may refer to this guideline: How to Create a Volume?


  1. Once volume is successfully attached, its status will change to ‘In-Use’.


Warning: To apply the attached volume, you will need to reboot your instance.



You have successfully attached the volume to your existing instance.
